Project Description
Blue Spruce Properties Ltd secured the former Park School (Junior) site in Yeovil, Somerset on behalf of a Registered Provider after successfully bidding for the site. The site was previously used by The Park School as the premises for their Saplings and Junior School however became vacant after deciding to relocate the school near to Marston Magna. The site had no previous planning history from residential development point of view.
A Full Planning Application was submitted in September 2018 for the demolition of the former school buildings and for the erection of 24 new residential dwellings. The proposed residential dwellings comprised of; 6 No. Two Bed Apartments; 10 No. Two Bed Houses; 6 No. Three Bed Houses and; 2 No. Three Bed Parlour Houses and offer a sustainable town centre location.
South Somerset District Council approved the planning application on 17th December 2019 and the development is now complete and occupied.
This case study demonstrates our ability to secure residential development sites without the benefit of a planning permission and deliver a quick permission with regards to Full Planning Applications.
